Student Research Travel Fund
Through the Student Research Travel Fund, undergraduate and graduate students in the School of Public Health are eligible to receive up to $500 to support travel to present their research findings at academic and professional conferences.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a currently enrolled School of Public Health student (graduate or undergraduate)
- Must be the lead presenter for either a poster or oral presentation at a conference
- Must submit your acceptance notification and accepted abstract as part of your application
- Students are limited to one travel grant in a given fiscal year
Evaluation Criteria
Funds to support student travel are awarded on a competitive basis. Applications will be evaluated on criteria that include the relevance of the project to public health and the degree to which the presentation supports the student’s academic and career goals. Students will be notified within three weeks if approved for funding.
