Urban Drivers of Resilient Youth
ResY scholars focus on understanding and intervening to improve young people’s personal capacities, their relationships with parents, peers, and teachers, and positive connections to their community and culture as the key factors to promote resilient youth.
HIV Destigmatization in Ghana
Professor Elizabeth Armstrong-Mensah discusses her work in Ghana, where understanding HIV-related stigma from the perspective of people living with HIV, medical practitioners, and community members is helping inform the development of culturally appropriate and effective interventions to reduce and eventually eliminate the stigma associated with HIV.
