School of Public Health faculty and staff conduct impactful research that builds knowledge toward the reduction and elimination of health disparities. Working with partners across the university and in collaboration with leaders, communities and organizations in metro Atlanta and around the world, the School of Public Health is dedicated to advancing health equity.

The Georgia State Prevention Research Center works with community organizations, state and local government, residents and other partners in the diverse city of Clarkston, Ga., to develop, implement and evaluate culturally and linguistically appropriate interventions to address the disparities and determinants of health for migrants and refugees and to disseminate this work at the community, states and national levels.
