- Biography
Sydnie Smith, M.Ed., is a Project Manager for the CDC Statewide Disability and Health project at the Center for Leadership in Disability (CLD). She serves as a member on the Partnering to Transform Health Outcomes with Persons with Intellectual Disabilities and Developmental Disabilities (PATH-PWIDD) Communication Action Committee. She received her BA in Special Education with a concentration in mild to moderate disabilities and her M.Ed in Special Education with a concentration in severe-profound disabilities. While at Vanderbilt, she was a Vanderbilt Kennedy Center UCEED Trainee, working on several different projects related to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and health. Before coming to the CLD, she was a 6th- 8th grade severe and profound disabilities teacher for Dekalb County Schools.
