- Biography
Solidad Tillman is the Strengthening Families Coordinator with Prevent Child Abuse Georgia housed in the Mark Chaffin Center for Healthy Development in the School of Public Health. She coordinates the Strengthening Families Georgia initiative for the state which aims to embed Protective Factors in child and family-serving organizations to immerse prevention practices in their work. Soli oversees projects and garners partnerships with key stake-holders through outreach and partnerships.
Before joining Georgia State University, Soli worked in the private, non-profit, and public sector. From 2016 – 2021, she served in government for the State of Georgia. Her most recent experience has been supporting housing assistance throughout the State of Georgia. These housing programs require that clients possess a form of mental or developmental disability to qualify. Solidad is passionate about inclusiveness and equity for fellow Georgians and communities who are most in need.
