Melody Weaver is the Georgia Family Support Network Coordinator for Prevent Child Abuse Georgia, housed at the Mark Chaffin Center for Healthy Development in the School of Public Health. Melody is entrusted with developing and overseeing the Georgia Family Support Network’s (GFSN) statewide activities.
Passionate about the transformative power of meaningful and impactful work, she is a dedicated professional with a background in roles spanning data management, community support and engagement, event planning, technical assistance proficiency, and program coordination.
Fueled by her personal experiences and professional pursuits, she sincerely believes in the profound impact of consistent, compassionate work. Melody finds great fulfillment in knowing that these efforts translate into tangible improvements for those PCA Georgia and GFSN serve.
Beyond her professional life, she takes pride in mothering four beautiful children and one sweet rescue dog. She is dedicated to infusing their home with warmth, creativity, and a shared commitment to making a positive difference wherever they go.
