Kurt Vogel is a clerk in the Center for Leadership in Disability, within the School of Public Health at Georgia State University.
Kurt serves on the center’s Accessibility Team, participates on a research team called WirelessRERC, and helps to process travel reimbursements and invoices. He also participated in the Georgia Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (GaLEND) Program as an Individual Advocate during the 2016-2017 school year.
Kurt advocates for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and he attends Georgia Tech’s Excel (Expanding Career, Education, and Leadership) inclusive college program. His goal is to increase his knowledge and skills to support people with disabilities in utilizing assistive technology to work towards positive employment outcomes.
