- Biography
Joshua Cohen graduated from Oglethorpe University in 2012 with a BA in Political Science and a Minor in History. He worked on multiple campaigns in the Greater D.C. area, before deciding that his passion for helping people lay outside of politics. After moving back to Atlanta, Joshua taught pre-k. He worked as the associate STEM Educator for the Children's Museum of Atlanta, before returning to get his MAT at Georgia State University. He began working with Special Education students in 2018 in Atlanta Public Schools. While teaching he received his Orton-Gillingham certification and coached wrestling at Decatur High School. Joshua's professional interests are Autism, Advocacy, History and Education.
In his personal life, Joshua practices Brazillian Jiujitsu and lives in the Atlanta area with his wife, dog, cat, 2 guinea pigs, ball python, and bearded dragon.
