- Biography
Gail joined the Georgia State University School of Music in 2015 and led the Public Relations and Marketing department. In this role, she oversaw the school’s communications strategy and public relations activities, including promotional graphics and special events.
While there, she received the Print Excellence Award for her 2016 design of the Georgia State University School of Music Brochure from The Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia (PIAG). In 2020, she was the winner of the Graphic Design USA 2020 American In-house Design Awards™ competition for her design and art direction for the Johnny Mercer Tribute Program. The booklet appeared in the 57th Anniversary Graphic Design USA In-House Design Annual publication.
Before joining Georgia State, she was the founder of Yellow Llama, a printing and marketing business based on digital technology and designs. Her clients included Georgia Power, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Georgia Technical College, Atlanta Area School of the Deaf, Oglethorpe Power, and Stone Mountain Park, among many others.
She also worked with the Medisys Network in New York and was the public relations department’s creative manager. Ms. Rodriguez worked with Jamaica Hospital, Flushing Hospital, and Brookdale Hospital. In this role, she created hundreds of promotional collateral and presentations for this organization.
Gail has affiliations with the Latin American Association, Bright Ring Foundation, and the Barefoot Sailing Club.
