- Biography
Elizabeth Perry, PhD, MPH, is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Mark Chaffin Center for Healthy Development. Liz works with Dr. Shannon Self-Brown in the PREVenT Lab on a number of community-based research and evaluation projects, including a National Cancer Institute-funded R01 exploring an adaptation to the SafeCare parenting program in the US, and two federally-funded service grants with the Georgia Center for Child Advocacy. Liz’s research interests center around understanding and preventing adverse childhood experiences, understanding resilience and positive childhood experiences for youth in low- and middle-income countries, and using implementation science to research ways to increase the reach of evidence-based programs to support the resilience and well-being of children and youth in low- and middle-income countries. Her research includes both quantitative and qualitative methods.
