- Biography
E. Lane Gresham is the Director of Communications and Media for Prevent Child Abuse Georgia. In this newly created position, Lane will be responsible for increasing the reach and influence of PCA Georgia’s primary prevention messaging.
Lane most recently served in a similar role at Tallulah Falls School, working for more than eight years as part of a highly successful, collaborative fundraising and public relations initiative. Lane is a respected public relations expert with more than 15 years of experience working in education, journalism, local government, downtown development and community building.
She is well versed in multiplatform storytelling, having previously served as the Editor of The Northeast Georgian, the legal organ of Habersham County. Lane also launched the Main Street program in Clarkesville in 2009.
Deeply committed to community causes, Lane has served in leadership and/or board roles for Historic Clarkesville Cemetery Preservation, Inc., North Georgia Technical College, the Habersham Chamber of Commerce, Habersham 200 [the county’s bicentennial committee], the Georgia Literary Festival, the Wild Goose Festival, The Little School and the Soque River Watershed Association. She also served terms as Planning Commissioner, City Council Member and Mayor Pro Tempore for the City of Clarkesville.
Lane has been married to Bill for 35 years; they have three adult children.
