Amelia Jazwa is a research coordinator and data analyst with the Tobacco Center of Regulatory Science (TCORS) at the School of Public Health at Georgia State University.
Prior to joining Georgia State, Jazwa worked for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she managed clinical data from a multidisciplinary obesity treatment to assess its effectiveness in helping severely obese youth and adolescents attain and maintain weight loss and improve overall well-being. She also has worked for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, managing and analyzing data in a range of areas, including environmental health, refugee and migrant health, vaccine-preventable diseases, and the economic impact of health policies.
In addition to her MPH, Jazwa has completed a certificate program in the socio-contextual determinants of health.
