The Department of Health Policy and Behavioral Sciences is improving health for all through teaching, research and community engagement that focuses on multiple issues that impact health and well-being, such as the design and dissemination of treatments to address pressing health conditions, as well as health care access, quality and affordability. -
The Department of Population Health Sciences brings students and faculty together to address urgent health issues that impact local and global populations. Working in fields ranging from applied biostatistics and epidemiology to infectious diseases and environmental health, we are dedicated to improving health for all.

Founded in 2024 with a lead gift from the Henson family, the Center on Health and Homelessness at the Georgia State University School of Public Health brings faculty, staff, students, and community partners together to conduct research and implement evidence-based interventions that addresses homelessness as a public health issue. -
The Mark Chaffin Centers for Healthy Development is a university-level research center at Georgia State University committed to promoting the health, safety and well-being of children, adults and families through research, service, education, training and advocacy. -
CLD translates research into sustainable community practices that contribute to independent, self-determined, inclusive and productive lives for people with disabilities and their families. -
The Georgia Association for Infant Mental Health (GA-AIMH) supports a range of early childhood professionals who address the social, emotional and developmental needs of young children and their families. -
Focusing on research, evidence-based interventions, community-relevant tools and public health education, The National Center for Sexual Violence Prevention (NCSVP) strives to prevent sexual violence and interrelated behaviors. -
The mission of the National SafeCare Training and Research Center is to ensure young children have a nurturing, safe and healthy home environment through SafeCare training, implementation support and research. SafeCare's program has three easy modules for providers to deliver and caregivers to utilize: health, safety and parent-child interaction. -
The National Center on Child Trafficking (NCCT) is a collaboration of professionals with expertise in child trauma and human trafficking. -
Positive Childhood Alliance Georgia works to increase public awareness and implementation of programs and practices that PREVENT child abuse and neglect by developing trainings, educating communities, and connecting families to needed resources. -
