Leigh is the senior advisor to the director of Georgia Health Policy Center at Georgia State University. Her work focuses on working across sectors to address the determinants of health and equity, applying her expertise in health policy, systems thinking, strategic planning, and meeting design and facilitation.
Leigh leads the center’s Health in All Policies team, managing projects such as: the Georgia Homes for Healthy Futures, working with housing developers and authorities to incorporate health-promoting design into the renovation of seven public housing sites across Georgia; and a county-level initiative in Georgia designed to address inequities.
She also provides leadership support to the center’s Legislative Health Policy Certificate Program (LHPCP), and a statewide public health-led strategic planning initiative to address the opioid crisis.
She received her Bachelors of Science in Industrial Psychology from California State University, Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law, and Masters in Public Health from the University of Washington.
