Ebony has been an Epidemiologist at the Georgia Department of Public Health for more than 10 years and serves as team lead for the Vaccine-Preventable Disease Epidemiology Team, in the Acute Disease Epidemiology Section. Prior to that, she worked as an American Schools of Public Health (ASPH) Fellow in CDC’s Immunization Services Division.
Ebony received her bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies from Emory University and her master’s degree in public health from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health, with a concentration in Health Education and Behavioral Science.
Ebony’s areas of interest include global infectious diseases and vaccine program development. She is also actively involved in the Council for State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) and serves on the Young Professionals Board for the Atlanta Chapter of Girls on the Run.
