The Reentry Application is needed if you have not enrolled in degree-applicable classes for one academic year (three consecutive semesters). Graduate students may apply to reenter only to the graduate program(s) under which they were previously enrolled.
Application deadlines are sometimes extended, provided there is space available. Contact the Office of Academic Assistance & Career Services (OAA) at 404-413-1452 or [email protected] for further details.

Self-managed Application
The Office of Academic Assistance & Career Services (OAA) uses a self-managed application for admission to its graduate programs. This means that it is your responsibility to prepare or collect all credentials and submit them at one time to OAA.
We strongly suggest that you maintain your own records by keeping a copy of your application and other supporting materials.
The following items should be e-submitted through the graduate application system:
- Reentry-seeking students can apply online.
- $25.00 Application Fee: e-submit and pay the application fee online. This fee is non-refundable.
- Please note that registration is contingent upon receipt of citizenship verification documents.
- If applicable, submit an official transcript from each college and/or university attended (since you last attended Georgia State University).
- Attach and e-mail electronic transcripts to [email protected], or
- Mail hard copies of transcripts to/via: USPS or FEDEX, UPS, DHL...refer to addresses in the contact row below.
