Kymberle Sterling, Assistant Professor of the Institute of Public Health, was a Post doctoral Research Associate in the National Cancer Institute's Career Development Training Program at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  She holds a Dr.PH. in Health Promotion and Health Education from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston School of Public Health.  Dr. Sterling’s research interests are broadly focused in the area of health promotion and health behavior change among adolescents.  Her scholarly work utilizes behavioral science strategies to prevent and reduce cancer-related risk factors, particularly tobacco use, among adolescents.
