Dr. Richard Lasco is Director of the Office of Training and Workforce Development at the Georgia Department of Public Health. He is also a part-time instructor at the School of Public Health at Georgia State University.

From 1998 until 2003, Lasco worked as an academic public health coordinator for the University System of Florida’s Lawton and Rhea Chiles Center for Healthy Mothers and Babies. And prior to that, he was a research associate professor in the departments of Epidemiology & Biostatistics and Community & Family Health at the University of South Florida’s College of Public Health.
