Missale Ayele is the Project Coordinator for the Chronic Disease Certificate Program in the School of Public Health at Georgia State University (GSU), where she works to build a competency-based graduate certificate curriculum supported by a workforce training needs survey and research.
Prior to joining the staff at GSU, Missale practiced human rights, immigration, and family law as an attorney licensed in the states of Georgia and California. She received her Juris Doctor from the College of Law at Georgia State University in 1994. She earned her Masters Degree in Public Health from the School of Public Health at Georgia State University in 2011. She is interested in promoting health as a basic human right through evidence-based education and leveraged technology.
