Biography

Dr. Frederic (Fred) Grant is the Assistant Dean for Finance and Administration for the Georgia State University School of Public Health. He served most recently as the school’s College Administrative Officer.

Prior to joining the School of Public Health, he was Chief Scientist and Senior Program Manager at Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Public Health IT Division. In those roles he provided advanced business solutions for government and commercial clients including CDC, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

In total, Fred brings over 30 years of experience in executive positions in Northrop Grumman, the Lockheed Corporation, the State of Georgia, Grady Hospital, Workscape and the Hunter group. He has comprehensive knowledge of finance, human resources, information technology and marketing. Additionally, he also holds an appointment as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Emory University.
