Erica Sheldon is a Research Coordinator in the School of Public Health where she works on several research projects related to childhood obesity prevention. She draws on her experience in program assessment, health promotion and health education, and community collaboration. Her research interests include community-based participatory research, chronic disease prevention, and program design and evaluation. In addition to research, she is assisting the Office of Academic Affairs with the completion of accreditation activities.
Erica is a 2013 graduate of the MPH program in the School of Public Health at Georgia State University. While completing her graduate work, she served as a graduate research assistant on numerous childhood obesity projects, including the Policy Leadership for Active Youth initiative.
