Eleanor Hillman has served as a Field Supervisor with Georgia State University’s Community Research Center (CRC) in the School of Public Health since 2008. Since then, Eleanor has assisted in several research projects, such as the Geography Project and the NIS Project. Prior to Georgia State, Eleanor was the Resource Coordinator at Atlanta Harm Reduction (AHRC) and also a former volunteer. At AHRC, Eleanor linked many individuals to community resources and helped implement many of the agency’s initiatives that are still in place today.
She is currently working on the Sampling Atlanta Network Study (SANS), a study focused on utilizing different recruitment methods.Eleanor’s areas of interest include interviewing research participants, building rapport with community members, and linking disadvantaged individuals to community resources. Eleanor is also certified trained phlebotomist.
