Policy Leadership for Active Youth (PLAY)

PLAY

Policy Leadership for Active Youth (PLAY) is a three-year policy research initiative of the Institute of Public Health in partnership with the Georgia Center for Obesity and Related Disorders (GCORD) of the University of Georgia and the Medical College of Georgia. Supported by the Healthcare Georgia Foundation, PLAY collaborates with the Georgia Coalition for Physical Activity and Nutrition and stakeholders to identify and assimilate emerging and promising strategies to increase physical activity, decrease sedentary behaviors and prevent childhood overweight with emphasis on providing the scientific expertise and policy leadership to get these strategies implemented in Georgia.
