The Institute of Public Health, in keeping with its mission of advancing health through leadership, scholarship, research and service, offers two degree programs for students interested in the field of public health: a Master of Public Health degree and a Graduate Certificate in Public Health.
The Certificate in Public Health (CPH) is a 15-credit hour program of study that can be pursued either as a stand alone certificate or in connection with a graduate degree.
The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree requires the completion of 42-credit hours and a declared specialization in one of three public health tracks: Prevention Sciences, Health Promotion and Behavior, or Health Management and Policy.
