The Institute’s core faculty is unique in its collective experience in public service and health leadership, having held up to senior positions in health care service and financing programs, government settings, applied research, and international agencies. They have worked in decisive roles on the most poignant issues in public health – cancer and tobacco control, mental health, substance abuse, injury prevention, HIV/AIDS, health planning, promotion and financing, food borne diseases in Africa, urban outdoor and indoor air quality, asthma and metabolic disorders like diabetes. These experiences and rich academic credentials provide a unique learning environment for our students.
