The Institute of Public Health's Board of Advisors will provide valuable insight into the practice needs of the public health community, which in turn will be reflected in curricular changes, practicum, and internship experiences. Close linkages, including the active and reciprocal involvement between academic training institutions and public health practice community, is a key recommendation of the Institute of Medicine Report on training public health professionals, and will be a hallmark of the academic programs offered by the Institute at Georgia State University.
