Math Lab

Graduate Biostatistics Computer Lab

The School of Public Health Graduate Biostatistics Computer Lab is a resource available to the School’s current graduate and certificate students, as well as Georgia State students enrolled in public health graduate-level courses.
Graduate student assistants oversee the lab and are available during open lab hours to provide limited student assistance and support for the Fundamentals of Biostatistics I (PH7017) and Statistical Computing (PH7525) courses.

How to Access the Lab

A student ID (Panther Card) is required for lab access. If your Panther Card does not work, please use the following link to access the request form: http://publichealth.gsu.edu/administrative-departments/facilities-events/facilities/keyswipe-card-request/
When completing the form, please note that the ISO number referred to on the form is on your Panther Card. Requests can take 4-5 days to complete processing.

The lab is open during the day Monday through Friday.

Anticipated Graduation Date: Spring 2017

Biostatistics Courses Completed: PH7017, PH7027, PH7525, PH8820. Some experience with SPSS and SEERStat. 

Thesis Topic Summary: Still deciding.

Fun Fact: I love road trips; I've driven to 25 states so far.

Concentration: Biostatistics

Anticipated Graduation Date: Fall 2017

Biostatistics Courses Completed: PH7017, PH7027, PH7525 and currently enrolled in  PH 8260 and PH 8830. Previous work experience in clinical laboratory science and laboratory quality control techniques and analysis.

Thesis Topic Summary: Still deciding.

Fun Fact: I have slight heterochromia in my right eye.
