Two students from Georgia State University’s Institute of Public Health, Regine Alexandra Emilien, M.D. and John DePasquale, M.D., volunteers with the locally-based non-profit organization, ServeHAITI, have spent the summer and fall semesters assisting with the submission of an HIV/AIDS grant. The grant was awarded to ServeHAITI on World AIDS Day, December 01, 2006. Dr. Emilien attended the festivities and met with USAID officials in Washington, D.C.
