Promoting and producing health, safety, and well being of children, adults, and families with and without disabilities through research, service, and advocacy.

The three programs that make up the center are the Center for Leadership in Disability (CLD), The National SafeCare® Training and Research Center (NSTRC) and Prevent Child Abuse Georgia.
The Center for Leadership in Disability is one of 67 programs in the country funded by the Administration for Developmental Disabilities. The core functions of are education, research, service, and dissemination of knowledge related to children and adults with disabilities.
The National SafeCare® Training and Research Center is the national center for training and research in the SafeCare model, an evidence-based practice for the treatment and prevention of child abuse and neglect.
Prevent Child Abuse Georgia will provide a statewide direction to promote healthy children and develop strong families through community resources, public awareness, prevention programs, research, and advocacy activities.
