Master of Public Health

The Institute of Public Health, in keeping with its mission of advancing health through leadership, scholarship, research and service, offers a fully accredited Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. MPH degree requires the completion of 42-credit hours and a declared concentration in one of five (5) public health concentrations:

Biostatistics
Environmental Health
Epidemiology
Health Promotion and Behavior
Health Management and Policy

The Master of Public Health degree program consists of both Public Health courses and a complementary selection of courses taught by a wide array of Georgia State University faculty. The program is taught on-site in Georgia State University classrooms where instructors utilize the most current educational technologies as well as use distance learning technologies to complement the in-class experience.
